Our MS Imaging Center - The MRI Suite

The IMSMP offers our patients the convenience of an MRI Suite certified by American College of Radiology. We constructed a state-of-the-art MRI Suite at our Center, which includes two Siemens 3-TESLA scanners that offer excellent image quality, superb diagnostic capabilities, and exceptional patient comfort. This allows our patients to arrive at the IMSMP, have their scheduled MRI performed, and then be escorted to their office visit. Your doctor will be able to immediately read and review your MRI. If additional imaging is needed after an office visit, patients also have the opportunity to have their MRI performed immediately on-site. The MRI Suite is open six days a week, with flexible times for scheduling.

If your physician requests an MRI to be performed, prior to scheduling the appointment, the MRI department will verify your insuran​ce, contact you to schedule the appointment, discuss any financial responsibility you may have and ask some pre-screen questions to ensure your safety, such as if you have a pacemaker or any surgically implanted devices. The MRI staff (pictured above) will perform any bloodwork your physician has requested or is necessary for the MRI.

It's advisable to inform the office of any insurance changes so that we have the most updated information on record.

If you need medication prior to your MRI, the staff can assist in obtaining the medication.
