Dr. Sadiq has always strongly believed in providing the best care and state-of-the-art equipment at our facility. Therefore, the MRI department has undergone major changes with new, upgraded MRI scanners with BioMatrix technology.

Our first scanner upgrade is complete and is fully operational (as of Monday, October 9th). The new 3T Magnetom Skyra Fit with BioMatrix technology will result in fewer rescans and higher diagnostic confidence with two added features including:

• BioMatrix dockable table with eDrive support, which provides motorized assistance for transferring patients. Select&Go allows the operator the benefit (from artificial intelligence) to automatically position patients up to 30% faster and avoid repositioning delays.

   

• Motion is a challenge with MRIs. It can significantly decrease image quality and limit scan consistency. Fully integrated in the system architecture, BioMatrix sensors capture respiratory, and head motion, which boosts consistency and frees up the user to select the optimal exam strategy. This combination ensures high-quality results.
