Stavra Romas, MD

Attending Neurologist

Dr. Stavra Romas, MD, BCBA is a board-certified neurologist and behavior analyst specializing in the evaluation and treatment of cognitive changes in multiple sclerosis.

She holds a BA from Princeton University, graduated medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed a behavioral neurology fellowship at the California Pacific Medical Center's Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center, where she also served as an assistant professor of clinical neurology. 

Her work at IMSMP combines neuropsychological testing, medical best practices, and a unique behavioral approach that makes nervous system diseases more manageable. Completeing a baseline cognitive screening with Dr. Romas helps patients establish a basleline that can be used to track and analyze changes to cognitive function over time.
